Signs of Spring

The snow is gone (for now, anyway) and it is nice to get outside again, but it will be nicer still when the backyard loses that desolate early-Spring look.  The good thing about snow is that it covers up all the junk laying around too.  We cleaned out the shed last Fall but there were a few things that got dragged out and never quite got dealt with.  Oh, well.  Spring is for new beginnings, right?

It is hard to believe that this garden will be filled with plants in only a couple of months.  I typically panic at some point and start sticking new plants in, only to have them covered up when the giant hostas unfurl.

Thankfully, there are a few signs of life out there.

There is lots to be done, starting with raking up the leaves that didn't get dealt with in the Fall either.  Luckily, I have help with that.
